This policy explains how OFM Egypt services collect, use, and protect personal data across the mobile app and admin panel.
Mobile App
The OFM Egypt mobile application (available on iOS and Android) is a read-only spiritual content companion. It does not require user accounts and does not collect personal information from users.
Data stored on your device
- App preferences (font size, theme, notification times) stored locally using shared preferences — never transmitted to our servers.
- Cached content from Firebase Firestore stored locally on your device to enable offline access.
Third-party services used by the app

Firebase (Google LLC) — the app uses Firebase Firestore to fetch spiritual content (prayers, readings, reflections). Firebase may collect device-level diagnostic information (such as app instance identifiers and crash signals) as part of its standard SDK operation. This data is governed by Google's Privacy Policy. We do not enable Firebase Analytics or Firebase Crashlytics in the app.
Local notifications
If you enable notifications, the app schedules local reminders on your device using your chosen times. No notification data is sent to our servers.
Admin Panel and Web Services
Data we collect
- Authentication/account metadata for authorized administrators.
- Operational and security telemetry (for example, request metadata and abuse logs from Firebase and hosting services).
- Admin-managed content and metadata stored in Firebase Firestore.
- Optional cookie-related identifiers where consent applies.
How data is used
- Service delivery and content management.
- Security, abuse prevention, and troubleshooting.
- Compliance with applicable legal obligations.
